Requesting a Bank Transfer

Transferring money from your Camlist balance to your bank account is easy.

This short article explains how the money flows from the buyer to your Camlist balance and you can withdraw the funds to your bank accounts (or debit card if you're in the US)

  • When a buyer makes a payment on Camlist, you will receive the FULL AMOUNT in your Pending Balance instantly. This is visible on the Balance screen, which can be accessed from your profile.

  • The buyer has to confirm that the pet has been handed over to them, by tapping on the "Confirm Delivery" button and attaching a clear photo proof of themselves with the pet in the chat window.

  • You need to confirm delivery from your end as well in your chat with the buyer.

  • Our moderators will review the photos to ensure they're valid and will approve the transaction once they make sure that the photo proof is attached as per the guidelines.

  • Once this has been approved, the amount in your Pending Balance will become available for transfer to your bank account, and you will see it move to the Available Balance section.

  • You can request for your balance to be transferred to your bank account.

  • Once you request the transfer, this amount is then moved to the Transferred Balance, and you receive the funds in your bank account.

  • NOTE: In the case of the payment being a deposit, the payment will automatically go into your Available Balance so that you can request a transfer. You do not need to follow any of the above steps for deposit payments.

Below, we will explain how to set up your bank details, and how to request a bank transfer:

Here are the steps to set up your bank details:

  • Go to your profile, and set up your bank details from the BALANCE screen.

  • Then tap on "Manage bank details"

  • Add your bank details and tap "Save".

If you are a seller in the US πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ OR UK πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§, you would also have to set up your bank details on our payouts partner - Stripe.

You will receive the link to get onboarded on your Stripe dashboard from our Support Team at the time of you receiving your first payment on Camlist from a buyer. The payment you receive would be pending approval until you are able to complete the necessary steps needed for approval including the setup of your Stripe dashboard - all of which will be communicated to you by our Support Team.

To setup your Stripe dashboard, click on the onboarding link that you receive from our Support Team, and add details as prompted. If asked for "Type of business", we recommend that you choose the "Individual/Sole Trader" option.

Here are the steps to request a bank transfer:

  • You will receive a message in your chat with the buyer on every successful payment, along with instructions on how to proceed. You will also see any payments that you receive in the Pending Balance section of your balance screen

  • Once you and your buyer have confirmed delivery and received approval from the moderators with regard to your confirmation, the amount is then automatically moved to the Available Balance section. Once the balance exceeds the minimum limit displayed in your country for the transfer, you can tap on "Transfer to my bank account". In case you and the buyer have already confirmed delivery with clear photos and your amount is still under Pending Balance, please reach out to our Support Team for guidance. This is not needed for deposit payments, all deposit payments will automatically be in the Available Balance section.

  • Once you tap on Transfer to My Bank Account, you will be able to see the amount in the "Transferred Balance" section. You will also see a breakdown of your past transfers here.

REMEMBER:

Make sure that you and the buyer have tapped on the "Confirm Delivery" button in the chat window, and both of you must post a clear photo of the buyer holding the pet. This is not needed for deposit payments on Camlist.

  • We process bank transfers within 24 hours from the point of you requesting a bank transfer on the app.

  • If you are in the US πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ: You will be able to request a bank transfer once your funds move to the "Available balance". This happens within 24 hours from the point of buyer confirmation with the photo as long as all the verification steps are completed. You will undergo a mandatory identity verification and Stripe onboarding step at the point of receiving your first payment and bank transfer. Every buyer you transact with will also undergo a mandatory identity verification step before you can hand over the pet to them.

  • If you are in the UK πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§: You will be able to request a bank transfer once your funds move to the "Available balance". This happens within 24 hours from the point of buyer confirmation with the photo as long as all the verification steps are completed. You will undergo a mandatory identity verification and Stripe onboarding step at the point of receiving your first payment and bank transfer. Any buyer you transact with may also undergo a mandatory identity verification step before you can hand over the pet to them.

  • If you are in the US πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ or UK πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§: If you need to change the bank account that you want to receive your transfers to, you would need to do it on the app AND you would need to do it on our payouts partner - Stripe's dashboard.

  • If you are in the US πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ or UK πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§: All transfers are sent to the bank account that has been connected as per your Stripe Dashboard.

  • If you are in the US πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ or UK πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§: To access your Stripe dashboard after it has been setup, you can login using your email ID on the following link: https://connect.stripe.com/express_login

  • If you are in the UAE πŸ‡¦πŸ‡ͺ: You will be able to request a bank transfer once your funds move to the "Available balance". This happens within 24 hours from the point of buyer confirmation with the photo as long as all the verification steps are completed. You will undergo a mandatory identity verification step at the point of receiving your first bank transfer.

  • The identity verification requires a valid government-issued document.
